Teaser, Part 2

There are a few folks who know now, but I'll address the comments and drop a few more hints.
Loki: It is not a PM9.
Weerd: It is not a 1908.
Jay: NEENER NEENER NEENER!

New hints:
- it is NOT a current-production model.
- it WAS made in Massachusetts.

  1. OK, Qualifying question. By "Not a 6-shooter", by chance are you jerking our collective chains and saying its something like a 5-shot S&W new departure revolver?

  2. Alright, Weer'd is onto my semantic games...

... keep following your nose, son!

  3. I had a similar thought.

    Model 1? A S&W pocket top-break?

    WV: "mangism". Uh-huuhhh...

  4. Elmo: While I think a Model 1 would be a nifty conversation piece, I wouldn't be shooting it much (at all?). I buy my guns to shoot!

And this piece is indeed a mangism. For serious.

  5. Hell, I'd shoot a Model 1 all the freakin' time. From what I'm told, they can chamber and fire .22 BB caps. It's the perfect basement-range gun. :)
