I got to my hotel at a reasonable time today, and checked in. Clerk says, "Oh, I see you have a discount through the NRA..."
Finish the check-in stuff, and she asks, "So, I've got to ask ... since you're in the NRA ... what's the ammo situation where you're from?"
We spent the next several minutes talking guns.
Chalk a big old +1 into the "MO" column.

Believe it or not, STARFLEET has a couple of hotel chain discount deals, too. I'm now enjoying imagining that front-desk conversation. "Will you be parking your starship in our valet lot?"
