GfZ got a BX-25 trigger for Christmas. It finally arrived today. We haven't installed it yet (a five-minute job of two screws and two pins) but it's in a "try me!" plastic package. So we did.
Not bad at all. VERY clean break, and definitely lighter than a factory 10/22 trigger. I'm impressed. And since it's drop-in, it doesn't have the fiddly line-up-the-parts game of a Volquartsen trigger kit.
(And at a third the price of a Timney set, it's a great deal!)

I got a 10/22 takedown last summer, which I mostly like but I've been pretty disappointed with the factory trigger. I'll have to pick one up.
Axe: If you're looking for a match-grade trigger, this isn't it. It is a damn sight better than the factory gritty-creepy-mush. We haven't installed it yet, but I've dry-fired in the package a few times and noticed a bit of take up (half-a-tenth, maybe?) and then a little stacking and a nice clean break. For the price it's well worth it.
I'll be interested in a range report on it...
Yeah I don't have $250 to spare for the really nice ones but I could do $90 for something that doesn't make me frustrated at every pull.
The 5 minute install was more like 30, but 1) I've never done anything like this, and I did it totally by myself. And
2) I had to essentially do it twice because I dropped the pin they tell you not to drop, and didn't notice until it was all back together.
It performed beautifully at the range. The trigger felt so different, the first time I pulled the trigger with a live round... It surprised me when it went "bang". Love it!
Axe, NFO ... I haven't shot it yet, but now that the Nurse has installed it I've dry-fired a couple times in the gun and I'm very impressed. It's not as crisp as a good match trigger, but it is light years ahead of the stock 10/22. I'd plan on putting one in any 10/22 pattern gun I get in the future.
