Welcome home...
It was a very long trip. But even more than the potholes, nothing says, "Welcome home" quite like putting the carry gun back where it belongs - on my hip.
I changed my route to Tennessee from the one that runs through Cincinnati to the one that runs through Louisville so that I would be CCW legal the whole way. :)
Unfortunately, "changing the route" for this trip just wasn't possible. NY to ND meant transiting PA, OH, IN, IL, WI, and MN. Neither of my permits are valid in ND, and a non-resident up there appears to take more than a quick stop at a county office.
Not to mention the trip through Mordor... and that ND's carry laws are odd: No carry in bars or liquor stores or places that sell liquor, churches, schools, etc. Since we were going up for a wedding, and booze was a given, it seemed ... difficult.
For some reason the fed.gov thinks you're not smart enough to recognize my comments and opinions as just that. Or that people giving me free stuff would make for a better review. But to make a government paper-shuffler happy, here it is:
Unless otherwise and specifically noted, any product mentioned, commented about, or reviewed in this blog was bought with my own hard-earned money or given to me by a third party with no vested interest in a review (i.e., my wife).

+1 to Tam. nice to put the gun back on after a long trip.
Better to never have to take it off.
When Jay, Dragon, and I were heading down to Pittsburgh Dragon was bragging that he could carry door-to-door.
He was bragging, and we were jealous.

All I want is full reciprocity of a CCW...
